This Frontier Needs Heroes is the moniker of singer-songwriter Bradley Lauretti, who in various forms and lineups has spent close to two decades playing shows all over the world. One night with Bradley runs the gamut of human emotion - humour, hedonism and activism through to heartbreaking sadness - moving from folk-rock anthems to indie folk, psychedelic flares and alt-country, often inside a single song. Influenced by John Prine, Billy Bragg, Kris Kristofferson and Townes Van Zandt, his songs mix love, humour and protest to get you through the tough times. Originally from Brooklyn, with stints in Nashville and Miami, he is now based in Barcelona. He has supported Scarlet Rivera, Sarah Lee Guthrie, Tallest Man on Earth, Gruff Rhys and Cate Le Bon, and played End of the Road, Reeperbahn and the Woody Guthrie Folk Festival. His new album "Homage to Catalonia" arrives in January 2027.
